Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle Review Basics:

Overview

The Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle system by Tom Venuto has been one of the best selling weight loss guides for around 3 – 4 years now. I remember seeing it years ago and that picture on the salespage sticks with you, but it never appealed to me at the time.

The first thing to note about this is that although the author is a bodybuilder, and although there are plenty of muscles being shown on the site and product covers, this is primarily a weight loss guide, NOT a muscle building guide. The author appears to have plenty of credibility, I won’t repeat the contents of the salespage, but he is a successful bodybuilder and says he has tried every diet and supplement around to try and sift through what works and what doesn’t.

The first thing you notice when you first get it is that this book takes no prisoners, if you are not dead serious about learning everything about your diet, body type, exercise you need to do, healthy eating, calories you should be eating etc then this is not the book for you. At nearly 340 pages long this is more a home study course than a book, great for some people, awful for others.

It is very detailed, goes into all sorts of different aspects of your life and diet over 17 chapters to give you the information you need to burn fat (hence the name) and not any lose muscle like you normally do on a diet. It goes over your psychology and goals, body types, meal plans, cardiovascular exercise, weight training, supplements and a whole lot more.

Combine that with another 100+ pages of bonuses and the result for most people is massive information overload, exactly what the author warns about on his site.

Don’t get me wrong, this is a thorough and well researched course, but if you are just looking to lose some weight to fit into some new clothes and feel a bit better then this is not the course for you. This is for people who want to learn everything they can about themselves and their habits and dedicate themselves to sculpting their new body.

Too indepth for most, but great for those looking for that depth.

What’s included?

There are two levels to this system:

At the Deluxe level you also get:

Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle Review – The Good & The Bad:

Pros

- Well written guide

- Packed full of information

- Covers exercise, diet and muscle toning/building

Cons

- Bonuses don’t really add much to the package

- Extremely involved, can cause massive information overload unless you settle down to fully digest the contents of the guide and take action on it. Some people would benefit from a much simpler diet to get results.

User Comments

I’ve downloaded it and it is a really great book. Some of it is such an overload of information it is kind of hard to take in, but it’s worth it. This book is for someone who truely wants to change their life. It isn’t just a quick diet book.

Hey there, buying BTFFTM last November basically changed everything around my eating and my training and my weight loss and my goals. It’s very readable and has essential information about goal setting (which I believe is essential for long-term meaningful maintenance), diets, nutrition, fat loss vs weight loss, training.

Tom Venuto’s eBook is fantastic. It’s based on very good science, a lot of personal experience and common sense info about diet, exercise and personal motiviation. It will basically teach you everything you need to know about getting into shape and losing fat, including how to calculate calorie requirements, how to eat better, tips for breaking fat-loss plateaus and training advice for adding muscle.

Customer Support

There is a helpdesk to respond to your questions, don’t expect a response from the author as the volume would just be too high, but they promise an answer within 24 hours. I have heard how one customer lost their old copy of the digital guide when a computer crashed, they contacted the helpdesk and the helpdesk didn’t just replace it, they gave him the latest updated version for free.

Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle Review Overall:

Overall this is an intensive programme, don’t go into it with half a heart or you will be overwhelmed in a few hours and never actually start.
