Cheat Your Way Thin is a relatively simple diet to follow, you are given 3 different plans to follow on different days, a low carb, low GI and high GI plan, then every 7 days you have a cheat day where you can and should eat anything you have had a craving for all week.
The carb cycling during the week creates the weight loss and then the cheat day is where you reset your body back to normal so it does not start to slow your metabolism down etc.
The product is concise, but at times seems to lack some detail and miss some things that you should know (the journal makes reference to two things which are not discussed in the main guide which seem to have been left out).
For each day then you are given a list of appropriate foods you can eat for the carb portions and then the protein and fat lists relate to all the 3 different days. You are given a list of portions for carbs etc to follow for each type of day, or there is a method for those that like to count calories instead.
The audio files that come with it are good, the first one you listen to explains all the science behind the system so that you don’t get bogged down with that in the main guide, then you have one more on strategies and one telling you how the author thought up the system.
Exercise is briefly mentioned, with 3 – 4 short workouts encouraged per week, in the upgrade then you get 10 different workouts you can follow.
Also in the upgrade you get the personal consult and meal plans for every meal for 28 days, you get that for each of the 3 day types making nearly 3 months worth of plans. We emailed in 4 questions for the personal consult and had a response 24 hours later, but the answers were as short as they could possibly be (one sentence each) so we were left feeling slightly cheated.
Overall it is a bit expensive, and you have to buy protein powder to drink every evening for your last meal of the day. But once you get used to eating the right portions of carbs/proteins and fats for the appropriate days then it is relatively easy to follow and having a cheat day once per week makes it a lot easier to stick to.
