This product is one of the most comprehensive we have reviewed, and at 341 pages for the main guide then the longest too!
That is its biggest strength and its biggest weakness. If you really want to learn all about nutrition, how carbs/fat and protein affect your body, the right ratios of food to eat, the best time to eat carbs etc to maximise fat loss then this is the product for you, but you need to be prepared to read and learn it all to do it.
If on the other hand you just want an easy plan to follow in order to lose some excess weight, then while the product does boil down to a simple healthy eating system, then it is wrapped up in hundreds of pages of detail which you need to get past first and will put most people off starting.
It is also focussed towards people who want to build muscle and really maximise fat loss. It is written by a bodybuilder and that shows through, it never specifically says it is targetting bodybuilders and you can certainly take away enough from this for an average person to really accelerate their fat loss, but it is geared towards people who want to put serious effort into training.
The bonuses are recaps of some important parts of the book and go into some more detail, the upgrade is a bit unneccessary as it is another 265 pages of interview transcriptions with the author which give good information, but it will be too much to digest along with the main guide.
We also signed up for the membership site offer they give on the download page – it is a great site packed full of information (including some online calculators for calories etc which would have been great if they were added to the book). This might be too much info along with the main guide, so I’d probably sign up a few months later when you get a handle on the main program, you only save $8 by signing up straightaway anyway!
So in summary it is a fantastic guide for anyone serious about losing fat and getting really healthy, and if you can get through it all then I would recommend everyone to read it just because of all the information you learn about your body and nutrition (I have 6 pages of notes!). But for most people it will be too much to go through with not enough structure to follow (he wants you to make your own plans up to suit your body so he advises you of what is best rather than giving you strict plans to follow).
