yayFOOD is all about cycling your calories to avoid your body adapting to the lower calorie intake and reaching a plateau like many other diets.

In the membership area then you are told exactly what you need to do, first you download some reports on the actual diet and on why low carbs diets don’t work, just short pdf files for you to read. Then you use the online calculator to work out how many calories you need and it provides you with a breakdown of how many calories you should eat each day for a week.

The rest of the membership site has other calculators, some short guides, a recipe library and a list of meal plans along with how many calories they contain so you can plan out your day. You get access to a goal setting area where you can input your goals and it will email you each day to remind you of why you wanted to complete the goal.

It also tracks your weight, you enter in your weight every time you weigh yourself and it displays it when you login and tracks it on a chart which is a nice feature.

They gave great support in our test, and there is a forum on the site, but it is not very active unfortunately. Also it does not look like the site is updated with new content very often, so the recurring fee would be for access to the online tools rather than any new content.

It gives you a simple system to follow and for the $4.95 you pay for the first month then it is great value, but after the first month you might not want to continue paying.
