What Is The Best Diet Plan?

There are so many diets out there that choosing the best diet plan is near impossible, and it just gets harder and harder every single year as more and more diets come out and more and more research is done which shows new things we should and should not be eating, it is a nightmare!

So we decided to purchase 27 of the top diets and find out which ones were the best, it was an interesting few months as we dived into each diet to find out what you got for your money and what they asked you to do. Some unfortunately fell way short of the mark, others were ok, and some shone.

There were a few surprises too like Eat Stop Eat which gets you to fast for 24 hours every week as a way to cut down your calories. Initially it sounds crazy as we all know you shouldn’t starve yourself, but the author makes some great arguments for it and provides scientific studies to back up his claims.

Or the Cookie Diet which is a meal replacement diet where you eat special cookies that curb your hunger (and they really do). They taste good and you are supposed to eat 6 throughout the day then have a small meal in the evening, but they are so effective at curbing your hunger most days I had only eaten 5 by an hour before dinner and had to quickly eat the last one even though I didn’t want it! (I guess I could have saved them up to get an extra day per week).

Probably the best diet plan out of all the rest was the South Beach Diet which teaches you how to eat a healthy balanced diet and doesn’t restrict you as much as other diets. Of course you have to change the way you eat so you do eat healthy balanced meals, but the holy grail of weight loss is a diet you can follow for life right?

Or you could try the Fat Burning Furnace too which is incredibly popular at the moment, that teaches you how to build muscle and eat properly so you raise how many calories you burn even when sitting on the couch! Of course you have to get off the couch to follow the program so it is not for those people who hate to exercise!
