Intro: I think I have mentioned before, but this is my favourite kind of soup. I like tomato soup too, but there is something so filling about a soup which is packed with chunks of vegetables! There are loads of different varieties of vegetable soup, and they all use different vegetables and different additives too, so if you try one and don’t like it then don’t write them all off just yet. For instance one I tried recently had a lot of garlic powder and onion in it, which I quite enjoyed but I could see how some people would hate that if they didn’t like strongly spiced foods (or were eating this soup around other people!).

As you can imagine then because this soup is packed full of vegetables then it is packed full of nutrients too. It has a lot of calcium in it, a huge amount of vitamin A and good levels of lots of the other vitamins and minerals that we look at, so tuck in!
