Intro: Tomato soup has to be one of the most traditional and well known types of soup. It can also be one of the most tasty too depending on which you get. Personally I enjoy a good creamy, plain tomato soup, and that is brilliant for dipping cheese sandwiches into too. Yet I also enjoy the other kinds made without cream and with herbs added to them to give the soup a bit more of a kick, both kinds are simple, tasty and contain lycopenes from the tomatoes which are supposed to be good for us.
You can see below that this soup is low in fat and high in nutrients, you get a huge dose of vitamin A and some good levels of vitamin C and vitamin K from it, as well a good mix of minerals too. That makes it my top choice out of all the soups we have looked at so far!
