Intro: Yes we are still on soups I’m afraid, and today we look at the worst soup in the world, well apart from cream of chicken soup which we will look at tomorrow (yuck). This is cream of celery soup, and celery has to be the most horrible food on the planet! It tastes sour and horrible and it is all stringy and crunchy, I have no idea how people can eat it. Yes ok it is supposed to be super low in calories which is why some people like to eat it while dieting, however most of those people take a bite and then dip the end in something like a salad dressing to disguise the taste, and then take another bite, which kind of defeats the purpose!
As you can see below then because of the cream this is a reasonably fatty soup again, but you will get that with all creamy ones, it does have some fiber in as well though which must come from the fibers in the celery which get mixed in. Other than that it seems pretty standard in terms of nutrition, with high levels of vitamin K though like the soup we looked at yesterday.
