Intro: I love soup, when you need something quick to eat then soup is easy to cook, easy to eat, tasty and warm which helps in those cold winter months. Today we are looking at beef noodle soup which means it has bit of beef in it along with beef flavoring or beef stock etc to give it more taste, along with noodles (thin strips of dough). The main difference between this and other thicker soups is that this does not have any cream in give it that thick texture, instead the ingredients are in a watery broth. I like all kinds of soup, however I have to say that these types of soup are probably my least favorite, just because they are so thin it feels like you are drinking it rather than eating it.
Nutritionally then as you can imagine it is mostly water, yet because of the lack of cream etc then it is also low in fat and carbohydrates, and with the added meat then it does give you a dose of protein. It is surprisingly high in salt though which must be added for flavor, but then has a good mixture of other vitamins and minerals, and has a lot more vitamin A in it than I thought it would.
