Losing weight can be hard, in fact with the wrong diet it can be near impossible!
We’ve purchased (yes we bought them!) and reviewed 27 of the top diets (plus the cabbage soup diet and the grapefruit diet which are free ones!) and below and what we think are the 3 top diet plans, each has been picked for the results they seem to be getting people, and the quality of the information, they are all different so don’t just immediately go for the one in the top spot, the other two are still great diets!

| This is a behemoth in the weight loss world, they a huge company with huge resources so the membership site and support is top notch, you can use the offline meetings too or even just use the books. Following the diet is easy, you just look up the foods you eat to find out how many points they contain and then make sure you stay within your daily point allowance. |

| The South Beach Diet |
| Some people think this is all about looking good on the beach so they dismiss it, in fact the title just references Miami as that is where is started. The diet teaches you how to eat healthily for the long term, so you can lose weight for as long as you need to and then switch over to phase 3 which is how you eat for life. The Supercharged version of the book also gives some great exercises to follow which will tone and strengthen your body. |

| Fit Yummy Mummy |
| This actually scored higher than the South Beach Diet, but it specifically targets women who want to lose post-baby weight. All women (and men) could benefit from the diet and exercise advice though, but as it is so targetted then that will put some people off and we had to relegate it to 3rd place. |

So there you have it, our 3 top diet plans, it was hard to choose the top 3 as there are some really really good diets out there, but then there were also a lot of mediocre or totally rubbish diets as well!
Check out the reviews before you make a choice so you can see if what you have to do on the diet fits in with your lifestyle, even the best diet in the world is useless if you don’t follow it, and sometimes the things they make us do (or eat) mean you only stick to it for a week before you give up. This time make sure you pick one you are going to stick to for the long haul.
