Intro: Do you ever think about how many calories are in your beer? Most people don’t, even people who try to eat healthily and avoid really fatty foods, they still knock back the beers at the weekend. There are lots of places in our diet where there are ‘hidden’ calories, calories we don’t think about, and what we drink is definitely one of those, you can see from the stats below that even this ‘light’ beer has over 100 calories a can, so if you drink 5 of them that is another 500 calories you are adding to your daily intake.

So how do you avoid this? Well unfortunately apart from not drinking it then there is no solution, and cutting out food from your diet to compensate is even worse! Try to keep drinking as a treat on the weekend and you’ll consume a lot less calories, and enjoy it a lot more when you do get to do it.
