Intro: Beef loaf can mean a meatloaf, which is a dish where you take ground beef and bake it in a loaf tin, hence the shape and the name. It can then easily be cut into slices and served and tastes delicious! Or a beef loaf can be a similar kind of thing but made from shredded roast beef and stuffed into a can along with gelatine and preservatives, it is then served cold and sliced for sandwiches etc.

You can see from the figures below that remarkably it is a food with zero carbs in it, but it does have a huge amount of water in it, along with protein and fat (including trans-fats too…). You might also notice that as the figures below are for an entire loaf, then there aren’t really that many vitamins in such a large portion, but there are some good levels of minerals instead.
