Warp Speed Fat Loss Review Basics:
|
Overview |
|
The Warp Speed Fat Loss system was developed by Mike Roussell & Alwyn Cosgrove who both have featured in many magazines and contributed to published books. Mike is doing a PhD in Nutrition and Alwyn runs a successful gym in California as well as teaching fitness trainers how to get fat loss results for their clients. We purchased this when it first came out for a hefty $164 including the upgrade, now they have a 2.0 version which you think they’d give existing customers for free after we spent that much on the original version, but they charged us $29 instead! In this new version they have taken out a lot of the extras to make it easier to digest and follow, as well as incorporate a new method of interval training that they have found to be more effective. This means there is no upgrade in this version so the whole package is just $97. This is very much a 28 day program, the whole thing is designed for you to follow exactly what they say to do and eat for 28 days to get the best fat loss results possible and transform your body (you can repeat the cycle if you need more). One word of warning though: You need to be reasonably fit and used to exercise before you start this. Most people looking to lose weight just aren’t in the kind of shape needed to follow this program. You will be working out doing interval training (not running or cycling now, this is the new kind of interval training that the author says is both more interesting and more effective) and some strength training 6 days a week, not for hours and hours, but you will have to do it. That said if you are in ok shape and prepared to follow it then it is kind of reassuring that they give you everything you need to follow, they even give you exact meal plans to follow for every meal for the entire 28 day program (they also give you guidelines and a chart so you can easily swap out foods you don’t like for foods you do, or you can create your own from scratch and not use theirs). In this new version you also get the 3X diet plans which basically give you a meal plan for each of the 3 different days that make up the program – high carb, normal carb and no carb. You can then just repeat those days for the whole program and it means you are not always trying to make different meals each day and you can shop for the ingredients you need a lot easier. You also get diet plans for vegetarians now too. There is also a simpler version of the diet system where instead of following the servings chart for the different days then you just eat from a list and eat as much as you want as long as you can eat the same amount again in 2 – 3 hours (yes you have to eat 6 meals a day on this program!). Although it only lasts for 28 days then it does give you some help to ease you off the program at the end, in the nutrition manual then you get told how to increase the carbs in the meal plans for 10 – 14 days after the program so you can ease your body back into normal eating and don’t ruin the results you’ve gained. But after that then you are on your own in how you maintain your slimmer figure. There are 3 different versions of the workout plans now, you get the normal one which is what most people will follow, then one you are supposed to be able to do at home, and another which is the extreme version which cranks things up a notch. The extreme version gets you to do more stuff and makes you workout twice a day on some days of the week, not good if you have a job to go to! But the home version is a bit confusing as they say it can all be done with some simple free weights and a resistance band, but then throw in deadlifts which need a full size bar for and kettlebell exercises for which obviously need a kettlebell… so you essentially need a full gym in your home to do the home workouts! The calls you get in mp3 format are quite good and give you answers to lots of questions other customers ask which provides some useful information, and the abs bonus gives some great ab exercises that I haven’t even heard of before! The authors wanted to create a short, intense program to help you get as fit as possible and lose as much fat as possible in the shortest amount of time, if that is what you are looking for and you think you are fit enough already to give this a shot, then this might be just what you are looking for. If you are not in great shape at the moment then you might be better off with one of the other diets we’ve reviewed. |

Warp Speed Fat Loss Review – The Good & The Bad:
Pros
- FAQs from customers answered in accompanying audio files
- Intense exercise and diet changes should give you fast and lasting changes to your body
- A very structured system, you literally eat and do exactly what they say every day (could be a pro or a con depending on your style)
- Using set servings of protein/carbs/fat per meal then it gives you a chart of foods with measures on so you can transfer foods in or out of their premade plans or make your own
Cons
- Reasonably intense workouts 6 days a week
- No flexibility on the exercises, you have to follow the plan without deviation
- Does not give you instructions on how to do all the exercises in the workout plan properly

Customer Support |
|
Customer service for the first version was pretty bad and they only received one star. Thankfully now they seem to have sorted it out and we sent in two queries recently and had one of the authors respond in 24 – 48 hours each time with an answer. There is a 30 day trial included with the package to Mike’s Naked Nutrition site with a forum where you can ask exercise/nutrition questions and the authors will respond, but you have to pay after that 30 days is up so it would be better if the forum part was always free for customers. Combine all this with the refunds being handled by Clickbank who always give great service, and they deserve 3 stars for customer service. |
