Intro: We talked about doughnuts yesterday, except that was the jam one and this has a crème filling. I don’t know if I would like just a crème filling, but I guess it would kind of balance things out with the sweetness of the dough and the more subdued taste of the crème (unless they use sugary whipped cream of course!).

Krispy Kreme do a wide range of doughnuts, and they are a big fan of using crème as a filling, as you can probably guess from the name of the company! I noticed one on the website which is called ‘Strawberries & Kreme’ and has strawberry jam mixed in with the crème in the centre of the doughnut, and then has a glaze on the top and curls of white chocolate, bits of shortcake and bits of strawberry – yum!

Of course of all of these cost in terms of calories, you can see the plain one below is 306 calories, and that one I just described above is supposed to be 323 calories according to their website.
