Intro: Cheese crackers are a staple at every buffet and party I have ever been to. They are easy to serve (just leave the open box around and people will eat them), they taste great, and they are really Moorish too!

Ritz are one of the most popular makers of cheese crackers, and they first introduced the normal cracker in about 1934. The company who makes them is called Nabisco, but they were named Ritz after their creator Waltz Ritzman apparently.

Unfortunately as these crackers are so Moorish then we tend to keep reaching for them throughout the day or throughout the party etc, which means we can end up eating a lot of them. You can see from the stats below (we don’t know what brand of cheese cracker was tested for this) that they are mostly carbohydrates and fat, although there is some protein in there too. So make sure you hide them away after you have had a few or you’ll quickly notch up a lot of calories!
