Serving size analysed: 57g, 1 bagel

Intro: This is the oat bran bagel which is a healthier option to the cinnamon-raisin bagel we posted the values for a few days ago. You get almost 50% more fiber in this bagel, which is crucial to keep your intestines healthy (and also make you feel full up quicker so you eat less). They also contain about 30% less fat and 10% more protein.

That means if you opt for an oat bran bagel then you are getting a high fiber (about 4% of total weight) and high protein (about 12% of total weight) snack that should help to fill you up so you don’t snack on anything else any time soon! Put some organic peanut butter (with no added sugar) on the top of it too and you get even more protein, as well as a huge amount of taste too. If you think peanut butter is too dry then add some slices of apple on top and prepare for bagel heaven!
