Fat Loss Bible Review Basics:
|
Overview |
|
The Fat Loss Bible by Anthony Colpo pulls no punches and you can see the author likes a good heated debate! The author goes out of his way to show you how most of the information people give about dieting and nutrition nowadays is wrong. Now there is nothing new about that, almost everyone nowadays trys to blast the competition away to strengthen their position, but what is different in this guide is that the author references scientific studies to back up every one of his claims. In fact if anything he uses too many of them, at times the guide can be hard to read as he takes you through each study and what was done and what the results showed. The fact the guide is written in a more scientific language than any other diet we have reviewed and is in a strange format (.exe) also makes it difficult at times to read. The first part of this guide takes you through 6 things he thinks are myths within the diet industry, pretty high profile things like eating more meals a day helping you to burn off more weight, and whether eating carbs in the evening makes you fat, and then proceeds to give you study after study to tell you why he thinks they are wrong and what the actual truth is. You then get taken through how the diet works and what you need to eat and what you need to avoid etc. It is basically a low carb diet (except after exercise) with a moderate calorie deficit to induce weight loss, along with some basic exercise to help you lose more fat and maintain or build muscle. You get to eat lots of meat and vegetables (he advocates going back to how we used to eat as hunter gatherers for the healthiest diet) and the good news is you only have to eat 3 meals a day! A lot of the stuff in this guide was surprising, and a total 180 from every other diet we have seen, but with a barrage of scientific studies being thrown at you for every argument then it is hard to disagree. There is a lot of information packed into the guide and the plan is relatively simple to follow which the author thinks is an important criteria so that you stick to it. Exercise is covered in a reasonable amount of detail, nothing compared to the diet part though, and it doesn’t tell you how best to do the weight lifting exercises he gives you, or give you any different levels of workouts, you just get the one plan and a list of what exercises to do. The bonuses are not brilliant, the supplement one looks at lots of studies to see if any of 10+ supplements in there do what they are supposed to, the MAD guide just feels like one long argument as he attempts to prove that at the same amount of calories there is no special benefit to eating a low carb or high carb diet for fat loss and everyone saying there is a benefit is wrong. |

Customer Support |

An email address is provided for support issues, we sent in a test question on a Tuesday at 16:17 (GMT) and had a helpful reply from the author just 6 hours later. A forum would be a great addition for customers but the support is good. |
