Fit Yummy Mummy Review Basics:
|
Overview |
|
This is the Fit Yummy Mummy system which was created by Holly Rigsby and is designed to help new mothers tone and sculpt their body to get it back to how it was before they gave birth (or make it even better!). The main part of this product is a large 110 page guide which tells you exactly what to do. It starts off by telling you what to expect from the diet and how to get ready for it mentally so you will actually stick to the diet for long enough to get good results (something most other diets don’t touch on and it is important). Then it jumps into a section on nutrition, there are 4 different one week plans, which you will go through 4 times each, making 16 weeks in total. Each plan tries to teach you seven healthy eating habits to change how you eat, but each time you go through a plan it teaches you just a couple at a time so don’t get overwhelmed. That means by the time you have been through each plan 4 times you will know and have practiced all of the good eating habits. Then the Fit Yummy Mummy system moves onto exercise and thankfully the sessions are short at just 30 minutes in length, with 3 sessions per week required. You also get taken through a lot of different schedules you might want to try so you can fit the workouts into your week no matter how busy you are. All of the exercises are pretty simple to follow, there aren’t any really intense moves with lots of weight involved. Instead it focuses on using your bodyweight to provide resistance and using a medicine or exercise ball, then you graduate to using some small dumbbells. A really nice thing about the exercise section is that it gives you 4 levels of workouts. You have the introductory set for people who have hardly ever worked out before and need to ease into it, then you have a beginner, intermediate and advanced set of workouts, so you can progress gently through them over the course of the 16 week plan and hopefully get to the advanced workouts. Finally at the back of the guide it finishes up with some templates and further information. You get a fitness journal template, some menu templates, sample shopping lists and even an exercise library where the author illustrates every exercise in the workouts and how to do them properly. You also get a lot of bonuses with the basic package, although not all of them seem that good and reading through all of them might just end up confusing you. Stick to the main guide at first so you don’t lose motivation and get started on it as soon as you can. We actually purchased the upgraded deluxe version though, which means we received over 5 hours of audio files too. Two of the files are interviews with the creator of the system about what the system is and it gives you advice to help you understand it better. Then there is another one on how to eat right which is good, and another on time management which is a big help for new mothers. You might find the audio files are a bit quiet at times, so make sure you have the volume up while listening to them. Also in the deluxe package is a series of 8 videos totally about 38 minutes in length, which take you through all the routines for the introductory and beginner workouts and show you every exercise with a voiceover guiding you as to how to perform the actions. The videos are a nice touch, but are very small, however you can still see what is happening so they are good enough. With this package you also get two months of free access to their ClubFYM membership site which gives you some new workouts every month, and it has a forum you can chat in along with 5 different coaches who are there to help you out and keep you motivated. Plus it has lots of tips on their blog and videos to help you too. Be advised though that if you stay past the free trial then they will charge you $9.95 a month, but there is a lot of information there so it is good to at least sign up for the free trial and have a look around. If you don’t want to continue then you can cancel right from within the site, you don’t even need to email them. |

Fit Yummy Mummy Review – The Good & The Bad:
Pros
- This system teaches you how to eat in a healthy way for life, not just while you diet
- The exercise plans are very quick to follow, taking just 30 minutes a time so they are easy to fit around a busy schedule
- The nutrition advice is really easy to follow so you don’t have to spend ages cooking weird meals to help you lose weight
- It has a lot of nice little additions to it which show it was made with care, like the sample shopping list and the fitness journal.
Cons
- You will have to eat every 3 – 4 hours which is not always that easy
- There are a lot of bonuses and they are not all that good. Instead just read the first two bonuses reports in our list above and leave the rest until you have been through the program and completed it at least once.

Customer Support |

With this package you get email support. We sent an email to that address with a test question at 12:05 on a Tuesday and within just over 2 hours (14:25) we had a friendly and really helpful reply back from the author. Also if you sign up for the 60 day trial at ClubFYM then you will have access to an active forum where you get access to the coaches to help you out and you can get encouragement from other members which really helps to keep you motivated. The only thing we could really suggest is that they use a helpdesk instead of a straight email system, just in case any emails get lost or overlooked. However that is probably just us being picky as with such a fast and helpful reply they certainly don’t seem to have any problems at the moment, and deserve the full 5 stars for their customer service. |
